Bump comes outside to play!

Hello. I am the one formerly known as Bump. I was busy for a while growing before I came out, so I was taking my time. But I think I used my time well.

I came out of mommy on Saturday October 30 at 9 PM. The big warning I gave was making a watery mess that morning. Then mommy and daddy had to wait all day while I was ignoring mommy's contractions. Until they made sure it would not hurt on the way out. Then I came out quickly, although I think I bumped into a few things on the way out. Sorry mommy.

Everyone says how big I am. Well, I was using my time doing my job. Growing. So I came out at 8 lb 11 oz. (3945 g) and 20 3/4" (52.5 cm). Since everyone was telling me how much room there was out here, I started my time outside by stretching everything I had. Arms, legs, lungs. . .

All these people were in the room looking at me, so I looked around too. (That's me up top at 15 minutes!) I look at everything, even if I don't really see what it is yet. Although I seem to give a lot of people a very suspicious look.

My job now is more then just growing. Now I have to actually do stuff. I've gotten to be good at sucking. And with what I eat I make stuff. First it was black stuff but by my 2nd day I started making brown stuff. I can make noise. Usually I don't need to do this for more than a minute, but when I was with all my friends my second night, I got a good long loud wail in. I didn't talk as much as my friends, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew I could belt it out with anyone.

I've moved to my second home outside. There not that many people here, just me and mommy and daddy and grandma. Not as much noise since I can't hear my friends nearby anymore and noone is poking me and my friends with sharp things. I hope I like my new home.

PS If you want to know what Bump's name is, ask mom or dad. He is rather shy, so he'll keep his old name on the internet.

(actually Andrea said...)You are too cute, "Bump"! We like your mommy and daddy a whole lot and I'm sure we'll like you a lot too when we get to know you. Be nice to them and figure out that thing called "sleeping" early on, okay? That will make them very happy!
